Industry professionals are invited to the 8th Annual Carlotta Festival of New Plays Professionals Weekend. Make your plans now to see three fully-produced plays by graduating playwrights MJ Kaufman, Amelia Roper, and Justin Taylor. The Professionals Weekend Package includes tickets to all three Carlotta Festival shows, Friday afternoon happy hour, and Saturday morning breakfast and panel discussion. Directions and Travel
DRIVING
The address of the Iseman Theater is 1156 Chapel Street, New Haven, CT, 06510.
From I-95 or South: Follow I-95 to Exit 47 (Route 34 Connector, Downtown New Haven). Take Route 34 to Exit 3 onto Frontage Road. Cross immediately into the right-hand lane of Frontage, then turn right at the first traffic light onto York Street. Chapel Street is the third left. The theatre is half a block down on the left side of the street.
From I-91: Follow I-91 to Exit 1 (Route 34 Connector) and follow the directions above.
From the Merritt Parkway (RT15): Take the Merritt to Exit 54 (I-95 North) and follow the directions above. Note that when returning on I-95 South, take exit 38 for the Merritt.
PARKING
There are a variety of parking garages in downtown New Haven. Click here for a detailed parking map. For those staying overnight, parking can often be arranged with your hotel for an additional fee.
TRAIN
Metro-North is MTA’s commuter railroad and offers dozens of trains between Grand Central Station and New Haven’s Union Station every day. Please visit http://www.mta.info/mnr/ for schedules and fares.
Amtrak offers service along the I-95 corridor from Washington, DC, to Boston. Regional and Acela trains stop several times a day at New Haven’s Union Station. Please visit www.amtrak.com for schedules and fares.
TAXI
For those arriving by train at New Haven’s Union Station, there is a taxi stand outside the station. Taxis cost approximately $10 one way, and it’s a 10-minute ride to downtown hotels and the Iseman Theater. The station is about a 20-minute walk to the Iseman Theater for those who arrive during the day.

PLANE
New Haven is serviced by the Hartford/Springfield International Airport (BDL), approximately 50 miles north of New Haven, and New Haven's regional Tweed Airport (HVN), approximately 5 miles from downtown New Haven. (Please note: Tweed Airport may be affected by the recent sequestration. Please contact US Airways before booking travel through HVN.)
