Katherine D. Burgueño
Katherine Burgueño has served as the Yale School of Drama/Yale Repertory Theatre Director of Finance and Human Resources since late 1997. Prior to coming to Yale she lived on the west coast where she served as Associate Manager of the Old Globe Theater, Business Manager for El Teatro Campesino, Project Manager and Associate Director of Underwriting for National Latino Communications Center (a Los Angeles based Latino media arts resource center for public television), Comptroller of Robinwood Enterprises (a San-Francisco based commercial theater producer) and Managing Director of Arts in Process (a Berkeley based multi-disciplinary arts umbrella corporation). In addition, she has worked as a computer systems analyst in the gypsum board industry, an executive assistant in banking, Executive Director of the Ohio Association of Home Health agencies and as a trade-show account executive for the cosmetology and Trakehner horse associations. Educated at Stanford University and Yale University, she was born in France, raised in Massachusetts, lived in California and Ohio, and now resides in Hamden, Connecticut. She is wife to Chava, mother to daughters Celina and Helena, and walking mate to the family Beagle/Bassett Hound Buster.
