Rosalie Stemer has been a lecturer at Yale School of Drama, in the departments of Theater Management and Technical Design and Production, since 2010. In addition, she coaches reporters and editors around the United States in better writing and editing. She has done editing and reporting for the New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle, and other metropolitan daily newspapers. Previously she taught clear writing and editing to graduate students in the Stanford University Department of Communication and the University of California, Berkeley, Graduate School of Journalism. She was awarded a Knight Fellowship to Stanford University. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Northwestern University, Medill School of Journalism.
