Theater Magazine is undertaking a two-year, five-issue research and documentation project on Eastern European theatre, with a $30,000 grant from the Trust for Mutual Understanding to support the initiative.
Yale School of Drama is a graduate professional conservatory for theatre training in
every discipline of the art form: acting, design (sets, costumes, lighting
and sound), directing, dramaturgy and dramatic criticism, playwriting, stage
management, technical design and production, and theater management.
The School operates in unique partnership with the Tony Award-winning Yale
Repertory Theatre. Faculty are distinguished for both professional accomplishments
and dedication to teaching; students are admitted based on talent and potential
for a career in the professional theatre; graduates of the School are known
for their accomplishments on the legitimate stage, in film and television,
and a variety of other creative fields.
