Who Cares? We Do! How does the next generation of theater professionals find a place in the American Not-For-Profit Theater
Monday May 12 at 3:00pm;University Theater, 222 York Street.
Synopsis:
To celebrate Yale Cabaret's 40-year legacy, we want to better understand how its spirit fits into the current landscape of the not-for-profit theater, where the American theater is heading, and where the next generation of theater professionals and theatergoers (us!) fits in. Immediately following the discussion, Cabaret 40 will host an end of the season barbecue in the Cabaret Garden with complimentary beer, hot dogs, and burgers!
Currently the panel includes:
Ed Martenson (Chair Theater Management Department, Yale School of Drama), Joseph Haj (Artistic Director, PlayMakers Repertory Company), Lucia Brawley (Actress, Graduate of Yale School of Drama), Dan Rothenberg (Founding Artistic Director, Pig Iron Theatre Company)
