Ibsen's anarchistic, poetic romp follows Peer Gynt on a fantastical journey – from the supernatural kingdom of trolls to the deserts of Africa and beyond – in search of the ever-illusive "true self." Fueled by exhilarating physical performances and the thrill of surprise, Peer Gynt is at once riotously funny and deeply terrifying, exploring our need to dream, our need to better ourselves, and the violence of our progress.
