The Yale School of Drama's 2008-09 Studio Series performances are FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Seating is subject to availability.

Patrons may arrive at the New Theater 30 minutes prior to the performance to sign up in person for the waitlist.  Unclaimed reservations will be released five minutes prior to the performance and distributed to the waitlist in the order of sign up.

Life is what happens while you’re busy making other plans.

As the three Prozorov sisters yearn for a nostalgia-tinged Moscow, their lives swirl and drift onto unexpected paths.  With the help of an ever-present community of friends, suitors, and uninvited guests, the comic and the painful collide in Chekhov’s at once intimate yet epic portrait of one family’s life.
