Seeking fame and wisdom, the young King of Navarre and his friends pledge a three-year fast from women and worldly cares—just as a beautiful French Princess and her ladies come to call. Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost is filled with romantic mix-ups and comic intrigue, leading to one of the master storyteller's most unexpected and bittersweet endings.
