Jeffrey Bledsoe

Lecturer in Theater Management



Jeffrey Bledsoe, Lecturer in Theater Management, is originally from Indiana and grew up working at his family-owned resort on Lake James. After graduating from Hillsdale College in Michigan with a double major in Theatre and Business Administration-Finance, Jeff worked for three years at the Tibbits Opera House in Coldwater, Michigan, which presented professional summer stock theatre and also served as a regional arts center. Moving east to continue his education, he received an MFA in Theater Management from Yale School of Drama. After receiving his degree, Jeffrey began working in the Manhattan Theatre Club business office, where he remained for 11 years as the Business Manager. After a year as the Director of Finance for Symphony Space, Jeff returned in July 2005 to assume the same position at Manhattan Theatre Club. From 2011-2013, he served as the Director of Finance for Frankel Green Theatrical Management, supervising the financial activity for Broadway, off-Broadway, and touring productions.  After serving as Director of Finance and Administration for the dance company Pilobolus, Jeff is now the Director of Finance for Signature Theatre in New York. Jeff lives in New Jersey with his husband, Tim Salamandyk.
